Skillnet Funded ITEC Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training Including Assessing Mental Health | August 31st 2025

This comprehensive course is designed to equip aspiring educators with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to teach, assess, and support learners in a variety of education and training settings. Whether working one-to-one or in group settings, participants will develop a strong foundation in inclusive, learner-centered teaching practices, and become qualified to deliver VTCT and ITEC-accredited qualifications in their specialist area.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, learners will:

• Be confident in planning and delivering structured class plans and schemes of work.

• Be equipped to teach and assess learners within ITEC and VTCT-accredited programmes.
• Be able to work effectively in both one-to-one and group teaching environments.

17th May 2026 – On-site Final Evaluation & Presentation

Requirements

• Qualified in your respective field (proof of qualifications required)
• Minimum of 3 years industry experience in the area you wish to teach
• Good level of written and spoken English
• Access to a laptop/tablet to complete coursework and portfolio
• Willingness to complete 100 hours of work experience (fully supported and facilitated on-site)
