Sudiferous Glands

• Sudiferous Glands (Sweat Glands)

• Stretch from deep dermis to outer layer of epidermis

• Eccrine – excrete water sweat and control body temp, all over body especially palms of hands and soles of feet

• Apocrine – extremely milky fluid, body odour is produced when sweat from their glands mix with bacteria on surface of skin, found in groin and axillae (armpits), it also contains Pheromones which attract opposites sex to each other (natural perfume).
