VTCT (Itec) Level 4 Certificate in Skin Needling:

The VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Certificate in Skin Needling is an advanced therapy qualification aimed at level 3 qualified practitioners aged 18 and over, who wish to add this therapy to their repertoire of treatment offerings. Learners are required to hold a level 3 Anatomy and physiology, and level 3 facial electrics or equivalent. This qualification is one of a new suite of level 4 advanced non-medical aesthetic therapies developed as a progression route for level 3 practitioners wishing to add to their repertoire in specific treatment modalities.

VTCT ( ITEC )Itec Level 4 Certificate in Skin Peeling:

The Level 4 Certificate in Chemical Skin Peeling provides learners with the knowledge and skills to carry out professional, safe and effective skin peeling treatments in line with regulatory recommendations.  It is a practical and knowledge based qualification aimed at therapists who wish to offer Skin Peeling treatments or existing aesthetic therapists who wish to advance their knowledge and skills.

ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Facial Electrical treatments:

The aim of the award in Facial Electrotherapy Treatments is to enable candidates to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide facial electrical treatments.

The main skills the learner will perform are:-

• Facial Electrical Treatments – to include preparing the client, checking for contra- indications and setting up and using brush cleanse, micro-current, high frequency, faradic, galvanic, vacuum suction and heat treatments.
• The learner will also develop knowledge about related health and safety and client care and communication which is essential to work and be successful in the beauty industry.

Pre-requisite:- ITEC Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Specialist or equivalent.

ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology:

This qualification enables candidates to go ahead and study a number of qualifications. Upon completion candidates will have a thorough understanding of the Anatomy & Physiology of the body, ideal for anybody to undergo as this is a prerequisite to a lot of courses such as Sports Massage, Holistic Massage, Reflexology, Body Treatments etc.

This knowledge and understanding is embedded in many Beauty and Complementary therapy qualifications. This qualification is a suitable pre requisite to progress to Level 4 Aesthetic or Advanced Beauty qualifications.

Covid Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention (Covid 19) For Beauty Therapy & Nail services:

Learners registering for any ITEC courses will be required to complete the IP2A1 – VTCT (ITEC) Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention (COVID-19). As part of VTCT’s (ITEC) commitment to the industries we serve, we have released seven Infection Prevention qualifications. These regulated qualifications, developed with public health experts, align to the UK government’s generic public health guidelines, whilst also offering bespoke treatment-specific content for the different sectors.
